As Blurry As It Gets

Used the A7+Voigtländer 15mm UWA + a cheap Helicoid adapter to capture small details and the scenery in blur behind at the same time. I like the out of focus, that you don't really see with this all-in-focus-lens all too often

Haven't seen any Helicoid adapters for less than a couple hundred $$ anywhere.

I bought one of this from China:

 

Leica M Lens to Sony NEX E Mount Adapter with Macro Tube Ring Helicoid LMNEXFT

 

Reasonable (i.e. decent enough) quality, just avoid using it with tight-fitting heavy lenses like my Jupiter-3 85/2. I forced (a lot) the lens on the adapter, the little screws became a bit loose, and it started wobbling a tiny tiny bit (my fault, by the way).

Not a big deal though; once home I simply re-tightened the screws and I've never had the same problem since (still, I avoid using the Jupiter on it).

 

It works like a champ with my set of Minolta M-Rokkor as well, even with the 90/4, btw.

 

This picture below has been taken with the Voigtlander (1st version) and processed with the Lightroom FlatField plugin to remove the magenta corners (vignetting added in post):

Nice. Thank you for the info. I like it when they bother to put 4 screws on the mounts. Most cheapies are usually 3 screws.

I'll order one.
