So no new A7R II yet?

Hi, hoped for the new A7R II announcement with the new lenses. Actually I want to jump aboard with Sony Full Frame. Would be happy with 36 m sensor so A7r would fit just fine. It's just the feeling that I'm not patient enough to wait for the new one with better specs. Fuji X ASPC doesn't cut in some situations anymore.

Surely there is some routine to Sony when releasing new cameras. Since I am new to Sony, when do you think the new A7R II could be released??

May be you did not notice.  The rumor site celebrated a 6 month anniversary of no new E mount camera from Sony! LOL!

 

Many of those who have been using Sony cams are sick and tired of the Sony pushing "Alpha" cameras and treating their customers as beta testers.

 

I hope they wait until they can figure out how to implement global shutter in their cams.  No rush at all.

I'd be happy if they just put the a7s in the a7mkii body.

 

Can't stand the grip and shutter button location as it is.
