Early Sony a7S stuck on 24fps

I have just acquired an early a7S which is using firmware 1.00 (!).

 

The camera itself is locked to "NTSC" frame rates (24, 59.94 etc).

 

If I update to the latest firmware will that unlock 25-frame based settings? Or does the camera need to be modified at a dealer for example?

Update: Put the camera on the latest firmware, but that didn't fix it (obviously, now that I think about it).

 

I think mine is one of the two a7S models that can't be switched to 25fps. Which isn't a killer for me, I will be using it for stills 99.9% of the time.
