I am not sure if it's only me or everyone faces the same problem. I recently purchased 7R 11. I am using Lexar Professional 1000x 128GB SDXC UHS-II/U3 Card with it. But if I hold the shutter button down for continuous shooting. Camera takes 6 or 7 continuous shots and than stops at least for 1 to 2 minutes to write and the red light under the SD card is either solid or blinking. Image size is L:42M. Is this just my camera or is it normal for all the cameras?

1000X is the read speed. You did not mention the write speed.

OTOH, even with a slower card, 1 to 2 minutes is a looooong

delay for writing the buffer to the card.

If this is a burst of jpegs without including the raw files, beware

that engaging image processing features, like DRO and such,

will increase the amount of processing and therefor the length

of delay. Maximum speed requires minimum processing.  It is

possible you are making more "weighty" jpegs than are used

when rating the speed of the camera. And again, check on the

write speed of your card. The larger-print "1000X" read speed

is on the front of the package. Write speed is sometimes just

below that in smaller print but often it's only on the reverse of

the package in really small print, buried within some lengthy

paragraph about the features of the card. For really slow cards

it isn't mentioned at all, cuz really slow cards are so cheap that

buyers are not concerned with performance. Slow cards are

good for audio recorders, where the processing load is rather

low compared to high MP image processing.

Sorry for this 1000x it was part model I guess. The write speed is 80 MBs and read is 150 mbs. Another thing you high lighted is format. I am capturing in RAW and JPG. Problem is my wife like have pictures off the camera to her phone. So I am capturing in both formats.
