Yes, there was no "reset" option though,in the system it's called "initialize" I tried several times,in order to do that I had to repeatedly press the menu button right after turning in the camera so I could get that fraction of a second in which the menu appears on the screen,if I miss it I'm not able to access it.

If the SD cards were heavily uses the might be worn out.  Did you try to factory reset the a69?

The sd cards that didn't work this time were always working before. No,my camera didn't get wet,I regularly last used it less than a month ago in perfect weather conditions. It worked fine. Any other ideas?
