Sony A7 does not start (LCD blinks, camera makes clicking noise)

I just tried to start my Sony A7 (nomally used before). the battery about 60-70 %. However, instead of starting the LCD backlight blinks slowly each two to three seconds for three times, meanwhile a small *clicking* noise can be heard, like it's trying to focus the lens or something. Then the whole thing just shuts down. Pressing the buttons does nothing, no menue shows up.

 

Has anyone experienced this problem?

Mess with removing and replacing and substituting all your removable

elements such as battery, SD card, lens or anything I've forgotten.

Mess with removing and replacing and substituting all your removable

elements such as battery, SD card, lens or anything I've forgotten. Try

all imaginable combinations, unless acoarst one combination happens

to fix it, at which point you can quit :-)

I have Sony a7s too. I have exactly the same problem.
how did you solve it?
