Hi folks,

I have a A7RII that flies in a drone.  I fire the camera from an IR trigger that is plugged into the gimbal.  In theory, the trigger is just the same as if I had a small hand held IR trigger.   It fires normally at first and then after a few shots it says:

    "Invalid in this mode"

"Available in movie mode"

If the camera was in my hands I could just touch the shutter button and the warning goes away, unfortunately, it's in the air.  It wont let me get past this screen and I have to land the drone and touch the shutter button, which as you can imagine is quite infuriating!

Have any of you folks had this warning occur in any situation.  I can't think what might be causing it.

Settings are:

Shooting in AV

Minimum shutter speed is 1/250

Focus set to AF-S

F8

ISO Auto

RAW uncompressed

Thanks in advance!

Andy.
