Hi there, I chose the A6000 because of good reviews and I had an a7 with lenses that fit the a6000. I have a 20mm pancake and the 16-70 zoom for the a6000, and my 35 and 55 ziess primes, and my 70-200 g lens fits as well.

I took a picture of a war mamorial with my a6000 and the same picture with my a7r2 at similar settings and you have to be a pixel peeper(like me) to tell the difference. I think top cameras only excell for weddings, potraits etc.

now as for the a6000. for the money it is a brilliant camera and you can get second hand lenses on the cheep. some lenses are more expensive than the camera itself. I use mostly the 16-70 ziess and it is brilliant with the a6000.

and also FF lenses work like magic. when I go walkabout I put the camera in one pocket and a lens in another and don't need a bag...magic.....A6000, go for it
