Class action lawsuit against SONY for 7AIII shutter failures in NY

I sold my 7AIII half a year ago and now the buyer is messaging me about the 5-year extra insurance that I got for the camera when I bought it.
The shutter is broken. I dug up the subject and in Petapixel there are numerous frustrated users signaling broken shutters and 600-dollar repair bills.
The shutter breaks so that it can be seen. The leaflets get twisted and loosen. The camera first goes dark and asks to be turned off and back on again.
Then it bricks.  Sony needs to do something dramatic to make it right.
