Sony A1 + 100-400 GM acting strange

Hello - I recently purchased a Sony A1 and have been using it to take photo's of my kids soccer games.  I've had a 100-400 GM and that is my primary lens that has been on this camera.

The past couple games I've noticed the camera acting strange and not sure if it's the camera, lens or maybe a overheating issue.  I uploaded the current software version thinking that would solve it but I had the same issues even after that.

1. EFV goes black and cannot get it to come back up - I am out in the bright sunlight so thinking this could be the problem but the latest software was suppose to help.
   1. Camera still takes pictures, but cannot see anything thru the EVF, have to turn off then turn back on the camera to fix
2. While taking pictures and zooming, the EFV will jump to Shooting Mode>Recall set up screen and show the settings that I am using for #1 on my dial thru the EFV and cannot see what I had been taking pictures of.
3. Once #2 happens, any changes I made to the focus area or shutter speed while shooting, will to back to the original settings.

I am in CA and it's been 100 degrees in these games, not sure if this is being caused by an over heating issue - I have not received any over heating warnings.

Has anyone heard of these types of things happening on the new A1's?
