Hi all, Has anyone heard any shipping updates on the 70-200 f2.8 GM from Sony or distributors/re-sellers? I ordered mine on July 20th in the US from Amazon. So far Amazon's two updates on arrival time were incorrect. Somewhere I heard they were supposed to start shipping the 1st part of October? Anyone have any other info? Thanks Scott

Just called Adorama and they're not shipping the A7r2 as of this date (8/5). Sony told them the cameras would be in by today, but they're not there yet. Has anyone else gotten any conflicting information from Adorama?

Zeiss wasn't exactly forthcoming with my question about availability of the BATIS lenses here in the USA, but at least they cordially responded with a version of "shut up and keep waiting." Within the next months, the backorders will be cleared in the succession of order income. The current delivery is around 3-4 months after order income at the moment. We already shipped many items of the BATIS lenses to the US, which all were directly handled over to the end customers by the dealers. Please contact your photo dealer directly for an estimated delivery date. Of course, we cannot know on which position your dealer put you on his waiting list.
