Hi, first time on forum.

I bought a Sony HVL-F58AM flash recently and the question is, can I use it safely on my Sony A6000 without causing any damage to it. I got the flash for a good price before the camera but reluctant to

use because unsure of compatibilty. Anyone used this combination or can give me any advise please.

Tony

Nonsense. I used an a6000 with a 300ws studio strobe that happened to have a hotshoe, and that's many times more powerful than any speedlight could ever be. The only hotshoe I've ever known to get damaged due to high trigger voltage is a cheap Yongnuo trigger, which they fixed in the next generation of hardware updates.
