I've heard quite a bit about this process, looks fairly complex

 

The attached image was taken on Fuji Velvia 50asa and drum scanned. The colour looks less, in your face, than I remember when I used this now discontinued Reversal Film?

Here is a company that offer a service? Buying a drum scanner seems prohibitive unless you have very deep pockets, and you will notice here that, there are testimonials from pros here?
