I am a bit confused by your setup but anyway, I don't know of any cameras that can be turned on and off remotely. Most cameras would have a setting to turn off after a certain amount of time if not used however.
I'm looking at getting the ZV-E10, and am wondering about a couple things.
I'm planning on using this as a webcam and to record videos.
My setup is having a camera connected to a projector in a mount. The camera is a little far from me and physically hard to turn off and on.
My question is, can I set up the ZV-E10 in the projector, have it connected either by USB or HDMI and remotely turn off and on the camera?
I know of the overheating problems with the camera and don't want the camera to be left on for days at a time if I don't need it for content creation or web streaming.
If this camera can't be turned on and off remotely are there any other cameras in the Sony line that can do that?
Thanks for the help.
Oh ok. Fair enough. I haven't heard a lot of good things about Precision but if they cannot reproduce the fault then that is not really their fault I guess. I'm not in your country so I can't really help unfortunately.
