Hi Everyone,

I am having the following issue with Sony A6300 and i want to know if anyone is experiencing the same issue or any solution/feedback:

during the recent event, i was video recording speech, while camera was in recording mode, it shuts down automatically out of nowhere - just black screen. it is still in ON mode. so i switched off, switched on, scrolled through my footage to see if all good. i do not see last clip that i was recording when it shut down. i also do not see bunch of previous clips however i see clips i recorded when event started. i switched the SD card, put in new one, got done with event. i checked the card on my PC that i took it out when camera stopped, luckily all clips were there. some reason camera screen wont show all clips. that was done and that is first time it happened with SONY A6300. i have recorded many events since i purchased the camera through B&H.

I then had a wedding this labor day wkd, i rented another Sony A6300 from borrowlens.com to pair again my Sony A6300 wih multiple angels. this time, i was using A6300 from borrowlens.com, same thing happened. it shut down while the recording was in session. i switched off, switched back on, again i do not see last clip or some previous clips however i do see clips recorded earlier on camrea. i put in new SD Card and got done with wedding. this time when i checked SD Card on my pc, i am actually missing last 2-3 clips. i do have all the other clip recorded earlier just last 2-3 clips are no longer on SD card

all my sd cards are Lexar 1000x 150MB/s 64GB. i was indoor during both events. there was no sign on screen or anything strange indicator. i am familiar with heat sign but i usually get that outside under the sun and i stop the camera moment i see it. let it cool down then turn on. i never see this heat sign indoor, this sign was not on the screen so why would the camera shut down out of nowhere...what seems to be the problem ??

during the first event, i had 2 clips that were 2gb and one with 1.5 gb size. during the last event, i had one or two clips with 1.5-2gb range. this is the only thing common. strange part is different physical camera but same behavior.

is this camera? is this sd card? what is it?

any feedback will help because i wanted to purchase one more A6300 but if this is an issue then it is not reliable. I have been canon guy for so long and i still use canon for photo/video but for last 6-8 months i have been using sony A6300 and i am impressed with the results but this issue needs to be figured out. please help!!
