It's supposed to be a money maker for Admin. If you click the link it takes you to Amazon, and if you buy something Admin makes money. Probably only one of many reasons this forum has never flourished. -

Sounds like it's shut off in the menu, you can turn it back on. The menu lets you: Turn the screen off and leave the EVF on, or turn the EVF off and leave the screen on, or put it in auto which allows use the screen until you put the camera to your eye (or something else blocks the sensor). I leave mine set on auto. Word of advice: Do a factory reset any time you get a used camera. This will put everything back to square one and remove all of the previous user's settings.
