A5000 - B&W without high contrast and without three shots

hi,

i am trying to find an option for taking 'normal' B&W photos but i can't seem to find it.

what i see is:
- High Contrast BW, and

- RIch Tone Mono, for which the camera has to take three photos and then process them

 

is there any option to take BW photos that would NOT be high contrast and that they can be taken with ONE shot only? i just can't believe there wouldn't be an option for that.

p.s. high contrast setting is good, but not always. rich tone setting is perfect but not if i have to wait for three shots and processing.

Oh no it was the perfect answer! (I am glad i subscribed to emails so i have it : "Hi, you need to go to camera settings, menu 4, creative style, B/W. That's it. Cheers")

 

That was exaclty i was looking for.

It was disabled cause i had an effect applied, but once that was off i could get to 'creative style' and set the BW there.

That's great! My answer was linked to a A6000, was not sure if the A5000 does have the same UI. Cheers
