Hi Team,

This may sound like a dumb question.

I am using an A7RII with firmware upgrade to 2.0.

Prior to the upgrade I did a panorama shot that I used shoot mode (individual shots then stiched together using Lightroom).

When I tried to do the same thing today, I could only do a panorama shot using sweep mode.

Can someone please tell me how to get back to shoot mode?

Thanks

Steve

To the best of my knowledge there are no Sony cameras that automatically take a series of RAW images that you can later stitch together in Lightroom or a similar program. The panorama mode on the dial is for the jpeg sweep panoramas. To do the more involved panorama using multiple files stitched together on your computer you need to take multiple frames one at a time, overlapping the appropriate amount, and controlling the exposure so as not to get funny looking skies etc.

That will produce the best results, but the jpeg sweep panorama can still produce very good results depending on what you plant to do with the panorama.
