How do I setup A7r5 to record video to external SSD?

Can’t find the appropriate steps.  Thanks in-advance for suggestions.

I don’t think you can. I’d be delighted to be wrong, but I don’t think you can do it by plugging a hard drive into the YSB-Zc port.

USB is set up to have one side in control (typically a computer), and one side controlled (like a hard drive).

I think the Sony cameras are set up to be controlled. Plug in another thing which expects to be controlled, and the two devices will both sit there waiting for the other side to take control.

There may be other cameras which can, but I don’t think the A7RV is one of them.
