Acristina
My camera was working fine two days ago. In the middle if my shoot it suddenly says “recovering dats. Please wait...” Then it says “writing to the memory card was not completed correctly. Recover data?” So i hit Enter. Then it says “execute? This may damage data that was added or edited on another device.” So i press enter again. Then it says “recovering data. Please wait...” Then it says “cannot recover data” it doesnt save any new images. does anyone know how to fix it? im heartbroken if its done. I cant afford a new camera currently and I use it to make sales post for my work.

paul scott
Take the card out and download [ save ] the files you have on it Format the card . Don't format the wrong drive on your laptop or benchtop, just the card. Put card back in Sony > the camera will shag around for a few seconds and then preparae your card as normal. This situation arises with me when I have a 10 second delay before exposure and shut camera off too quickly. Edit: Private email address removed Edited January 9, 2020 by Olaf W.
