gkraft4
I downloaded the ILCE-6400 System Software (Firmware) Update Ver. 2.00 (Mac) onto my 2018 iMac. I never got the "System Extension Blocked" and "Check Security & Privacy Settings" dialogues as described in the installation guide. After the "Connect the device to the computer with the USB cable" dialogue, then noting happens. The program just exits. On my a6400 the "USB Connection" menu item is still greyed out, and I cannot select it. I've tried this multiple times. Also, the UpdateSettingsTools needing to reboot my Mac is bologna, because it is a Mac and not Windows!

Rcksil
There were two files in the downloaded folder. after the first one goes through its cycle you have to open the second and this will guide you through the installation. i had the same issue today and noticed the second file. Once I opened it all went smooth GL Rick
