Using Microsoft Windows 10 using Update_ILCE7RM4V110.exe I succeeded in updating my A7RM4A from version 1.00 to version 1.10 after wasting a lot of time with repeated failures in which it failed to recognize the camera, on three different computers. 

Am still unable to update from version 1.10 to version 1.20 using the Sony software Update_ILCE7RM4V120.exe.  

This software repeatedly failed to recognize the camera even though the Windows operating system recognized the camera as drive G:\PMHOME and even though I had freshly rebooted with no other apps running and even though I used the special USB C cable that came with the sony A7.

Any ideas on how to solve?
