Sounds like it's shut off in the menu, you can turn it back on. The menu lets you: Turn the screen off and leave the EVF on, or turn the EVF off and leave the screen on, or put it in auto which allows use the screen until you put the camera to your eye (or something else blocks the sensor). I leave mine set on auto. Word of advice: Do a factory reset any time you get a used camera. This will put everything back to square one and remove all of the previous user's settings. -
It's a deliberate feature of this forum to generate some revenue. I agree it's pretty misleading and inhospitable, especially for first-time users of this forum. I'd rather they'd just put some add banners here and there if revenue is needed for the upkeep of this forum.
