April 21, 201510 yr I have bought 5 different OM adapters all at the low end of price. In all but one case the piece that holds the Aperture pin open does not open it far enough so that when you stop down past 8 or 11 it will not go further. I have tried two Fotodiox, a cowboy studio, FOTEGA and a FOTASY. The FOTASY was the only one that caught the aperture correctly. Has anyone else experienced this? Am I missing something?
April 30, 201510 yr My only adapter is fine though a bit tight and stiff on the bayonet. Are you sure that the adapters are are fully in place. The iris pin is very basic and if the adapter bayonet is correctly located it's hard to see how the pin can be wrong.
June 14, 201510 yr My experience says that the best OM adapter to fit on a E-mount body is the Novoflex nex/om adapter. It is a robust and well-tightly fitting, mainly on a full frame E-mount body.
June 15, 201510 yr To generalise.... I'd say that the best adapters for any combination are Novoflex. The Voigtlander ones (at least Leica M to MFT) are also superb.
July 2, 201510 yr The Fotasy was the first, and only one I bought. works well for me. A7ii with 24 f2:8 and 200 f:4.

Might help if you could tell us what OM lenses and mount you are using.
