So you’re trying to upload a video file straight out of the camera? -
Yes I purchased the correct for my model of Sony. The photography side works fine with everything and every mode. It’s just that in video it wants to be in auto exposure for auto focus to work which is strange. -

Did you check compatibility between the camera/adapter/lens on their website? Seems like the LA-EA4 is the right one, but different lenses provide different levels of function.
