A7rii tethered to El Capitan

So being the fool and not having anything on my plate at the time I went and upgraded to Apple's new El Capitan 10.11. RemoteCameraControl does not recognize that I have the A7rii plug in via a usb cable and the back of the LCD just reads "Connecting..." I have the menu set at PC Remote.  Can anyone offer any suggestion how to get this to work and or is there anyway to work tethered with the A7rii and El Capitan?

This just underscores you should never, never, never change operating systems unless you are prepared to suffer the consequences.  Good luck!

i had the same experience and this made me quickly go back to 10.10.5.  sony seems not to be aware of the issue. so let's hope they will or the next update of el capitano will fix the problem ;o)

Sony has released the 3.6 version of the RemoteCameraControl app, with support for El Capitan. Has anyone tried it yet?
