At Last made my mind up (I think)

After a lot of thinking and reading, I had made my mind up on lenses for my A7Rii

 

The body has been sitting at the dealer for a few weeks now, waiting for the Batis 25mm to arrive. Problem is I am off to Iceland in a few weeks and I need a back-up camera, so I re-looked at my options.

 

I do landscapes and seascapes and use a Pentax 645z with the 28-45mm lens (21mm wide end in 35mm speak), and over the years most of my work has been in the 16 to 35mm range (was Nikon 16-35 main lens before I moved to Pentax), so have settled with the Sony 16-35mm (seems sensible when I thought about it like this).

 

In addition to have a lens for a carry round setup, I also got the 35mm 2.8 (appreciate the focal length is covered but for its weight and size)

 

The longer ends I hope to use my 645 Pentax 55, 75 and 150 with the Fotodiox adapter when it arrives.

 

So hopefully this is all very sensible - and I won't regret not getting the Batis 25mm - I think :-)
