My a6400 automatically retract in the lens after shutting down

I am coming from Canon family, lately I purchased a6400 and I am completely pleased with the performance so far. I am a youtuber, I make indoor videos predominantly, but one thing that is annoying me is that the kit lens (16-50mm) automatically retract in after shutting down, I have to manually set the frame every time when I turn on the camera due to this.

Is there a solution to freeze the lens until I touch it manually ?

No, it's working as intended. As far as I know all powerzoom-lenses revert to minimum focal length when the camera is switched off: the 18-105mm F/4 also does this.
