  1. I recently purchased the Sony Alpha 7 II. Great camera. I shot some test pictures with it. However, when I import them in DigiKam, there is no preview. IrfanView and other programs can open the image. I tried both the compressed and the uncompressed file formats but nothing works. There is no problem with PEF files from my Pentax camera. Do I need to tweak any settings? I am using the latest firmware. mj
  2. I've been getting a problem lately when previewing my photos on my Sony A7RII. I usually leave the selection between viewfinder/monitor on automatic. However, if I take a picture whilst looking through the viewfinder and then, keeping my eye at the viewfinder, press the preview button then many times it will instead preview via the monitor. If I try a second time then it will show through the viewfinder as intended. This seems quite sporadic - sometimes it will display through the viewfinder first time, other times through the monitor. This never occurred during the first few weeks of using the camera so I thought maybe I'd inadvertently changed a setting. Even after resetting the settings, though, the same issue is still arising. If anyone has an idea on what may be causing this, or can suggest a solution that would be much appreciated. Hoping its not a camera fault! Thanks
