Its been pretty wintery in Hobart recently - coldest winter in over 65 years. So I have not been out enough. Today was better so I ventured out for a shot in the harbour. Sony A7Rii Emmalisa: 1/60th | ISO50 | f4 | 21mm Earlier in the week it was nice to escape the cold in Sydney - even if only travelling for 1 night on a work assignment. Sunrise reflection: 1/1000th | f18| 55mm | ISO50

I have found the FE1635 to be the best ultra wide-angle lens for capturing landscapes and architecture. It is performing at its best at the short focal lengths (16mm) and is the perfect match for even the A7R. Check out my Flickr gallery (I have included full resolution files, images captured wide open and posted links to Raw files) https://www.flickr.com/photos/markgaler/sets/72157647309662617/with/15058237158/

I recently was being a tourist in the city I live in. I was taking pictures of the Sydney Opera House when i turned around and saw a bike under a lamp. I took a picture at an eye watering ISO of 16000 and it turned out to be my favourite image of the night. Taken with the A7S and the Zeiss FE Sonnar 35/2.8 'A bike at the opera'
