Sigma 18-35mm 1.8

Hello

The only True F1.8 crop sensor lens on the market from what I read. Any thoughts on this lens?

I have this Sigma Art 18-35mm F1.8 for sale. It has been used once and with the box and papers etc - mint cond.  Canon EF mount.

 

It's the best wide angle zoom on the market. Works well on the A7RII (Commlite adapter or Metabones). Let me know or make offer and I can send pics.

I'd say that is the only problem with the lens, it is not available in E mount.  So you have to use an adapter. It is available in A mount I think.

What would a good adapter for this cost? I see adapters for $15 n others for $700.

I'd use the LA-EA4 and the A-mount lens. 

 

However what camera do you want to mount it on?

I have this lens on my Nikon D7100 and it is outstanding.  I hear a few issues with out of focus that require fine tuning from a Sigma dock, but mine is sharp.  I have been using it on my A6000 with a Commlite adapter and so far works great, just no auto focus.

A6000, I'm torn between this kit and a SEL 1670 f4 / 50mm f1.8 combo. I would like an all in one everyday lens and a bit of night street photography. A bit skeptical since there's not much zoom length on the Sigma 1.8

Get the SEL lens.  Not needing to use adapters and having OSS is nice.  Once you figure out how everything works and what focal length you like, then look at other lenses.

 

The Sigma won't have OSS, like the SEL lenses.
