I am slowly adding Sony to my Nikon and I shoot weddings.  Recently while shooting with my A7rii I noticed that I had fewer keeper shots with (FE 85mm 1.8) at F2-F3.2 vs Nikon 750 or 810 with (70-200).  I am using AF-C with Lock on Zone or Lock on Flex spot Medium.  It seems to lock on faces while a subject is moving but I am still getting soft and not tack sharp faces, (I always shoot with Shutter over 1/200).  Can anyone give me advice on what is the best AF for moving subjects, should I try using something like what Nikon is using Spot AF without lock on?  Also, when AF lock on face, where is the camera choosing to put focus priority? (eyes, nose, forehead??)

I don't know that camera but you may glean some useful knowledge from Mark Galen's videos which explain the practical meaning of Sony AF options in depth. Watching these made a big difference in my hit rate.

I don't know the 7RM2 but this looks similar to a video I watched about 7RM3.

Have you tried the "Eye AF" function? This focus mode will actually track an eye. I have not personally used this mode, but I have seen many positive comments about it.
