June 18, 20187 yr Sony LA-EA3. It will be very slow at best. Consider getting the E-mount version instead. As a general rule, I only adapt A-mount lenses which have a strong optical character. Then you can put up with bad autofocus or even manual focus. For the bread-and-butter lenses it's better to use E-mount lenses that utilise the full potential of the camera.
June 18, 20187 yr Author Thanks for your answer. So, even if i'll use mainly manual focus, could be too slow ? Maybe any suggestions which one is for e mount, so i can decide in the future. At amazon or ebay when i search all i can get it writes for Sony, so i can't be 100% sure, if it's e mount.
June 19, 20187 yr Yeah, you're not using the autofocus to its potential and it will be slow and hard to set focus manually with that lens. Sony and Tamron have 18-200mm lenses for E-mount. It's the same lens and the Tamron is cheaper.
