First Filter Purchase

I have a sony a9 and love doing landscape photography, but would like a ND filter. I am new to filters and would love some recommendations, are there any that work on any lens size? I am nervous about buying one to only use on one of my lenses.

I would buy a Lee Filters kit, or one of the other similar brands. For the additional price (£10 or so) of an adapter ring for each lens diameter you have, your one filter holder and one set of Nd and grad filters will work with all of your different lenses.
