"A little rain over the gear" is pretty subjective. Sony has never been known for exemplary weather sealing. Their older cameras were awful, but the newer cameras, like yours, are fairly decent. As to the lenses, some are weather sealed and some aren't, you'll need to look those up to determine which are. And bear in mind, again, older lenses won't be a good as the newer designs. I shoot an A7 IV and an A1. I don't worry about being out in a little rain with either, lens dependent. I used to shoot an A7 RIII, and as much as I love that sensor, I would run like the Wicked Witch of the West when water was in the air. -
Hi folks. I moved from Fuji about 4 months ago. When shooting outdoors I felt comfortable with a little rain over the gear. I am now shooting with A7RCii and CR along with a range of lenses including 24 2.8G, 85 1.8G, 70-200 2.8 GM, 100-400 5.6 GM (please ignore if there are any errors). Has anyone experience in wet weather with kit like this? Thanks, Sam.
