If you do not need a TTL transmiter and flash (all should be set to manual) this set works on my A7II and RX100 II. Cheap and very effective.

I'm using a Pixel King TTL flash trigger with my older Sony flash and Metz flash without a problem. The flash has the old Sony hotshoe and on the camera I'm using the Sony ISO hotshoe adapter.

So it wasn't necessary for me to buy and new flash and the transmitter/ receiver set supports TTL.
