A7S and HDMI

When I connect an external monitor via HDMI, my zebra and peaking indicators that I see on the A7S monitor, disappear on the external monitor.  Switch back to the A7s and they're there, back to external, they are gone.

 

Am I missing a setting?  I've gone thru the menus, everything looks right.

I think the explanation is that the A7S outputs a clean hdmi signal not the image from the camera monitor. An external monitor such as an atomos shogun provides zebras, peaking and waveforms from this signal internally.

What monitor are you using?
