A mount to film adapter

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum, so apologies for starting with a question. I have an old Minolta XD7 film camera which is a joy to use, but I wanted to use some of my newer a mount lens, like my beercan, with this body. Does anybody know of an adapter that goes this way? I'm having real trouble in locating one.

The minolta A mount was originally a film mount, but it was for autofocus cameras. Your XD7 is manual focus so needs lenses in one of the variants of the SR mount (MD being the most common) I don't think there are any adapters made for this.

Thanks for the reply, thats a shame, I thought it might be the case when my searches didn't throw anything up! At least there are plenty of MD lens to pick from still!
