May 31, 20196 yr Hi! I'm asurfing photographer and I work with my a6500 inside a waterhousing. When I close it, the viewfinder's sensibility "thinks" the back plate is my eye and makes it keeps turned on wasting all the battery really fast, even when I'm waiting for another wave set. Does anyone knows how to disable this sensibility?
June 2, 20196 yr Don't think you can, you can only choose EVF, Monitor or Auto, So if you are using the LCD, you can turn off the EVF completely. Also, there's a pre-auto-focus thing. I think that is started by the sensor. Make sure that is off.
November 25, 20205 yr marcosbase did you ever find a solution to this? I have the same problem when my camera is in the water housing.
