April 25, 20169 yr I have read some sad posts about Sony's service and was very worried when I had to send in a Sony a7 to the service center here in the US – Precision Camera in CT. I sent the camera FedEx overnight on Monday 3/28. The next day they called to confirm that they had received it. Then, on Wednesday, 3/30 they called again to say the repair was complete and it had been shipped. I got the camera back on Friday 4/1. Just thought I would share this little story for any and all who might be concerned about Sony service here in the US.
May 29, 20169 yr Very similar experience recently - sent the lens, it was repaired and shipped back out the same day, had it the next day via overnight, all at no charge other than my shipping to them expense. Jon
