I took my recently-acquired second hand A900 to Scotland recently, using a second hand Minolta AF 28mm lens. (you don't need to spend big bucks ALL the time!)  

 

I was on the local ferry from the mainland over to the island of Mull when the dull day exploded into light.  

 

Wonderful.
