Good evening,

A little information concerning file format.

I've set "File format"-"RAW" in the parameters menu. but the files are still recorded in the jpeg format. I"d like them to be in the raw format in order to edit better.

I've got a sony a7 c I,a viltrox 40 mm f 2.5 lens and a SDHC 32 Go memory card.

Take a look here: Setting Raw format .

Perhaps you've selected RAW + JPEG in the menu.

Do you have a user manual? It's possible you are shooting in a "mode" that over-rides your FILE setting.
