April 15Apr 15 I cannot find anything similar to this in the forum. I took several shots of the same subject, not using flash or electronic shutter. All are okay except one which has a single 2-pixel wide line running across it. Any ideas as to the cause? Camera: A7R v, lens CV 2/65.

April 17Apr 17 Nothing to be concerned about unless this happens over multiple images or all the time. It's electronics. Odd things happen. Like fixating over one Hershey Kiss and concerned that out of the entire bag one's missing that paper pull thinggie. Move along.
April 17Apr 17 Author Well it has happened again today, so I am concerned that it might happen in future on a crucial image that is hard to fix.
April 18Apr 18 Now things are getting interesting. Change resolution and test. Shoot RAW + JPG and test then only RAW then only JPG and test. (I'd expect it to be in both if a hardware issue.) Since it doesn't happen on every shot it'll take time to ferret just what the commonality is. Also verify it it occurs on video or not or it it's in the same location whether horizontal or vertical. See if the line gets wider when at the lowest resolution. Edited April 18Apr 18 by VTC
