I have adapted a Minolta A mount 35-70mm autofocus lens to my a7c with the laea4 sony adapter. The camera turns on auto exposure mode when I'm using auto focus for video. When I turn off auto focus, it will allow me to turn on manual exposure, otherwise it is greyed out in the menu. What is going on? My native mount lenses don't have this issue. -
@MaryAnn SOrry to revive an older thread, but did you ever figure out how to reattach the ring? Mine fell off today. Like you, I am completely baffled as to how it reattaches. thanks, Mike -
Hello, I just got the A6700, with underwater housing and Turtle trigger. Same issue as described, when the trigger is connected, the camera considers there is always a strobe « On » and impossible to disable it from the menu, strobe always in « force » mode. Latest firmware downloaded, not better.Only solution to use the full automatic mode, like on a smartphone…I will try to use a mini strobe instead the trigger.
