Domain House is a grand neo-Gothic sandstone landmark built in 1848-49. It represents an important part of early colonial education as it originally began its life as the High School Of Hobart Town - http://ontheconvicttrail.blogspot.com.au/2013/03/domain-house-high-school-of-hobart-town.html

Domain House reminds me of the magnificent Mount Stuart House http://www.mountstuart.com/files/cache/36817598586a76409ea95686b437f057.jpg

I was fortunate to attend the Australian Institute of Architects Hobart Open House opening 2015.  These shots were taken at the event.  This is a building owned by my current employer the University of Tasmania.
