Hello Forum members. Like many I am a DPR refugee. I am a photography professional specializing in events such as trade shows, conventions, and, conferences. After shooting Nikon for decades I switched to Sony Alphas in 2012. Many of my professional colleagues asked me the same question ---"Have you lost your mind?" I have never regretted switching to Sony Alphas -- I shoot with an A-9 and a 7rIV and have captured some phenomenal images. I only use Sony GM lenses.

For my own enjoyment I shoot Leica M-11 and Leica Q2. They are incredible cameras/lenses but generally not suitable for my commercial work except for situations like Poster Sessions when it is essential to get very close to the action and that rules out a typical DSLR, and also Sony Alphas with a big zoom lenses. Leica's are comparatively tiny, as are their lenses, and that allows me to shoot some really fine candid close-ups.

I'm looking forward to sharing lots of information with fellow Forum members
