When focussing a half press of the shutter button yields a green focus indicator but focussing is also confirmed with a white marker, what is the significance of the green vs white?

It would help us if we knew what camera you are referring to -- and tell us if you have read the owner's manual.  That usually explains everything.

Configure browser push notifications
