September 1, 201510 yr Really old lens from East Germany (1950's). Mine is all black in M42 screw mount. Good for portraits or closeup shots with extension tubes. Dreamy image quality, not really that sharp wide open (but sharp enough) and characteristic bokeh. September 20, 201510 yr Hey really Awesome photos. Could you please tell me what's in the background of the last photo? It's stunning and I love it. Keep up the good work
September 20, 201510 yr Author Thanks. Behind the little flower were some bushes and behind those was a river. The sun was low and was reflecting off the waves and the reflections could just barely be seen through the vegetation.
September 21, 201510 yr Love your images. The Bokeh with this lens is astounding. I'm also looking into getting some old Minolta lens(es). E.g. the Minolta Rokkor 58mm f1.2 has a dream Bokeh. https://www.flickr.com/photos/28476552@N04/tags/rokkormcpg58mmf12/ How did you mount the lens to your Sony Nex? Via adapter?
September 21, 201510 yr Author Simple M42 adapter. Might have used a short extension tube as well, don't remember.
