Curious Why does this photo have rings?

Hi Everyone,

I rented a Sony AR7 IV  with a 100-400mm lens. I have been photographing everything, including this shoot of the moon. On my Nikons, I have never seen these rings, 

can anyone tell me what they are, is it "normal" with Sony?

Turn off lens compensation for shading, if I recall. The camera is applying compensation for vignetting in the lens, which isn't perfect. You have also more than likely pushed the exposure quite a bit in post to make it more prominent.
