March 29, 20214 yr Hi Bob, is there any chance your drive setting is set to Bracket? I don't know what camera you have but mine have a small button on the towpath the symbols of a stopwatch/stack of squares. If you press this button a selection of options comes up on the LCD or in the viewfinder. Scroll to the single square for single shot. Other settings are for continuous shots, exposure bracketing, self timer etc. On a friend's camera I found I was taking 3 of everything because they had it set to continuous shooting, and the time I usually hold the shutter was just log enough for three shots! I also know some cameras can record an image in both JPEG and RAW (2 files) but I haven't heard of one recording 3 files. Hopefully your problem is only a matter of selecting the right settings.
